STENOS DROMOS

STENOS DROMOS are two Greek words that, when placed together, form the phrase “The Narrow Path”. This is a phrase (Amongst other Greek and Aramaic translations) that would have been used during the time of Christ and the birth and rise of the early Church. It signifies a commitment to live life in a manner that is pleasing to God.  To read the Word of God (The Bible) and apply the principles therein to one’s life. 

Jesus used the metaphor of the "Narrow Path" (or Narrow Gate/Way) in the Gospel of Matthew, specifically in Matthew 7:13-14, contrasting it with a "wide gate" leading to destruction, to teach about choosing the difficult but life-affirming way of discipleship over the easy, worldly path. He said few find the narrow path to life, while many follow the broad way to ruin, emphasizing that true life requires discipline and commitment, not just outward appearance.

And so, it is with that Biblical directive that we intentionally journey the way of the Narrow Path. It is our humble prayer that the teachings that follow would honour our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and help many come to know him in a deeper and life changing way. Although those that are presenting the information are flawed and imperfect, the Word of God is above reproach. Alive and active, it judges the very thoughts and attitudes of the heart. May our hearts and attitudes be subject to our God. Worthy of every good thing we possess.
